ITALIAN MEATBALLS & SAUCE FOR PASTA

Meatballs:

1½ lbs. lean ground beef  2-lb. ground pork
1½-cup bread crumbs 4 eggs
½ cup grated Romano cheese Few sprigs parsley chopped 
Few Leaves Fresh Basil Chopped  

 Sauce:

1 Lg. Onion Chopped Fine 3 Cloves Garlic Minced
1/3 Cup Olive Oil 1-15 oz. Jar Strained Tomatoes
2-28 oz. Cans Crushed Tomatoes Few Sprigs of Parsley Chopped
Salt & Pepper to taste 1 large onion chopped fine

Meatballs: Mix all ingredients together well, and shape into balls the size you like. Brown in olive oil on all sides.

Sauce: Sauté the onion, garlic in the olive oil until tender. Add tomato products and parsley and basil. Add the meatballs and continue cooking on low heat for a few hours. Serve the finished sauce over your favorite pasta. Sprinkle plenty of Claro's Grated Romano Cheese over the top. This is enough sauce for 2 lbs. of pasta.
