ITALIAN MEATBALLS & SAUCE FOR PASTA
|1½ lbs. lean ground beef||2-lb. ground pork|
|1½-cup bread crumbs||4 eggs|
|½ cup grated Romano cheese||Few sprigs parsley chopped|
|Few Leaves Fresh Basil Chopped|
|1 Lg. Onion Chopped Fine||3 Cloves Garlic Minced|
|1/3 Cup Olive Oil||1-15 oz. Jar Strained Tomatoes|
|2-28 oz. Cans Crushed Tomatoes||Few Sprigs of Parsley Chopped|
|Salt & Pepper to taste||1 large onion chopped fine|
Meatballs: Mix all ingredients together well, and shape into balls the size you like. Brown in olive oil on all sides.
Sauce: Sauté the onion, garlic in the olive oil until tender. Add tomato products and parsley and basil. Add the meatballs and continue cooking on low heat for a few hours. Serve the finished sauce over your favorite pasta. Sprinkle plenty of Claro's Grated Romano Cheese over the top. This is enough sauce for 2 lbs. of pasta.
